As a small business owner, parent of three school aged children, and having attended musd, I’m committed to our schools and community. I’m running for school board because I want to work with staff, fellow parents and the community to ensure that the students of musd receive a quality education. Over the past 18 months I’ve attended school board, strategic planning, site council, and master planning meetings. I’m concerned about our district and the issues we are facing due to state and federal mandates as well as the shortage of our operating revenues. Our student success and school rankings will increase only if our teachers, administrators, and staff have the resources and support systems they need in order to provide a quality education. If elected I will work closely with the other trustees, staff, and community to ensure that our children receive the quality education they deserve.
