Education as we know it needs to change in order for a sustainable world to be realized.

We need to ensure equal access for every girl and boy on the planet. We might start by understanding ourselves better! Self awareness is part of being emotionally intelligent.

Do we respect ourselves and understand both our strengths and weaknesses?

Do we recognize differences based on gender, culture, age and economic situations? Do we have the same values?

Many people in developed parts of the world see those in underdeveloped parts of the world as needing to change from natural resource value systems into industrialized types of environments.

However, our international priorities conflict with the goals and plans we used to industrialize the world as we know it.

The sustainable development goals are a perfect example and therefore an opportunity. If we know the changes must be done globally. We would be wise to use system thinking.

Then we want to measure the problems in a consistent way. Let's assume we will need to define and measure problems before we analyze them. We first need to understand the whole "planet" with "people" as the who and locations on the planet are both physical and virtual. A person can only be physically located one place on the planet. Is a person able to have a virtual location beyond the physical location? Yes, we can be in one and many virtual places at the very same time.

This new reality changes everything!

How do we align GIS systems with our consumer audience? By zip code of course...It's that simple.

The best way to create pages with the users, providers and sponsors aligned. Just because we can do something DOES NOT mean we should force everyone to do something.

Great we have flexibility.

We don't always need and can break far too many things when we MUST respond to flexibility we didn't have earlier.

Mobile, cloud and virtual solutions are the next generation and we've called this the digital age. We must understand the limitations and how these newest technologies work together. This task would be the single most challenging obstacle we have to face and overcome.

Beyond planning, operational and monitoring of our invested technology portfolios we have to know why what we design and deliver makes sense. Please don't be offended by my point as we don't know what we don't know. I can tell you that we must do a better job of analysis and synthesis of our projects and the changes. This will be my position and response to anything brought forward in this series of pages.

Who am I?

I am extremely effective at design thinking without the formal education. I am a proven thought leader and never met a problem I couldn't overcome. I am not one to require an army of resources and take you from soup to nuts every time.

I am an executives secret weapon and the users champion.

Most experts cannot assess and decifer the who problem in any vertical regardless of the location. I know the two parts play a role in the results and requirements differ yet underlying boundaries remain consistent.

My value to this series would be to ensure we don't over design and under-deliver to the public sector.
