Duck tour

The boys played one of the top ranked HS Rugby teams in the US, Sacremento Jesuit. We lost but worked hard.
The JV lost 73/3. They played a team that had much more experience and they learned a lot.

The Varsity lost 57-21. The first half they played a strong game, talking to eachother and making good tackles.
Golger scored in the first plays of the game. Dempsey also scored in the first half. Then we made some mistakes but woke up and held them. Herlihy scored in the last seconds of the game, a testiment to our tenacity. Rusty made all three conversion kicks.

The boys learned some important lessons that game.

The boys ran Golden Gate then went to Muir woods and down to Stanford to practice with the Stanford Coach

Coach Decker:
This was a nice start to the tour. They played well. They had one week off and played a bit rust in the first half. The second half they played good rugby. They settled down in the second half and played better.

The team got a slow start. It was nice to see Elsie allen hosting us again. Elsie allen made a strong performance in the game.
