Happy July 4th!
CREATIVELY INSATIABLE --Delightedly blurring the lines between Photography and Art. We are born to create. Creativity is in the everyday movement of our lives.
Creativity is not limited to the arts, it's in all things, all endeavors. Creativity is in the choices we make in ways that reveal our human uniqueness. We are all walking works of art, and art is in everything. I am a creativity mentor and believe in the creative act.

Happy July 4th!
This is what Sacramento feels like today! (Ai depiction of possible actual events!)
Let's quilt! I do love to sew, and quilting is one of my first loves in the world of sewing. This is a new quirky way of quilting, lol! Yes, Ai.
Tonight is the night it officially begins Broadway at Music Circus season for me! Shooting a dress rehearsal of Beautiful, which opens this wonderful 2023 summer season. It was rad walking onto the campus and seeing all these banners with photos from past shows, so cool. And the amazing round stage too of course! My 96th show. 🙂. Kevin Graft and I will both be here doing our thing.
Nice to see this memory today!
The 2022/23 YES Collection just launched! Art you can wear out on the town-- as satin scarves! Colorful, gorgeous shiny satin. Original art turned into a textile so you can wear it! Art isn't just for your walls. Why not walk around wearing art too?! Check it out. I'll be adding a Coupon Code for followers soon too so keep an eye out. Great holiday fashion or gifts for the artsy folks in your life.

Holiday Love love love on this crisp and beautiful morning. Xoxo
It’s the eve of the big day! May all your days be merry and bright! Drew wreath in Procreate app on iPad with Apple Pencil, WORDSWAG app for the text. App-sessed!
It’s the eve of Christmas Eve! No matter what holiday you celebrate I like to think of this as a sweet season of love and warmth for all. I hope you’re feeling it and here’s to a grand new year for all of us! Cheers for 2022! Xo
Here’s an app eval for WOWSHI! Cute little app that’s fun, easy and I really enjoyed it. My app-evals are typically a first look discovery of an app so you get a view of it right along with me. I look for how easy it is, the options it offers, and by just trying it out I decide if I like it or not. Take the journey with me! And I do like WOWSHI a lot. It’s based on using washi tape to decorate things. It’s got some sweet options for holiday stuff right now too and worth the download. Watch and see what you think!
Still obsessed with creating patterns. It’s a lifelong joy! Here’s one from a photo I shot of a colorful floral bouquet I happened upon.
Tried out the PhotoDirector app for making memes. Animations are fun, easy to use. I just used the free options and it worked well. Happy Holidays everyone! Treat yourself to a new mobile app to create fun stuff!
Throwback Thursday! I just found this movie I made from a fun app game I used to play called on my phone— Drawsome. Early days of using mobile apps for me. Does anyone else remember it? You were given a thing to draw, then another person had to guess what it was. I’m no Michelangelo for sure but it was a lot of silly fun! The music is by Chris Goslow— called The Bravest Kitten in the World.
My husband Chris ran the California International Marathon yesterday. I was in midtown waiting for him to pass by and get some video. It was filled with people cheering everyone on, so much great energy. Congrats Chris! You did grrrrreat!
Wearable art rocks! You want it, I got it! Shiny, satin, delightful, functional art. Link in bio. Zoom showings available to see even more.
A walk in Midtown on this gorgeous day. Nature speaking loudly through her beautiful art.
Wearable art! Functional and beautiful to wear. This is a cool cross-body tote so you go hands free anywhere! So Pretty! Just posted on Etsy. Link in bio. Original art to wear. :)
Wearable art! My original drawing printed onto cotton and turned into original art to wear. It’s a cross body tote bag. My own favorite kind so you can be hands free! Listed on Etsy, Link in bio. This is a beauty!
They’re a Rainbow! Newest tote posted for sale. Link in Bio. An original art piece of mine printed onto fabric that I’ve sewn into a cross-body tote. I love these bags because I’m all about being hands free when I’m out and about. And colorful, yeah, I love being colorful.
Enjoy a few moments of Zen. It was a glorious morning here in Midtown Sacramento. All the leaves and , textures, the golds, greens, yellows, reds and blue of the sky were mesmerizing. Such a beautiful day.
Siamese cats and all cat lovers. Handmade wearable art cross-body tote just listed! I’m mad for all kitties and made this digital art piece awhile ago but now that it’s been printed onto fabric a person can take it along wherever they go! Or perhaps it’s the purrrfect practical gift for the cat lover in your world. Link in bio
Take a trip down Kaleidoscope Road. One of my newest scarves in the collection. It’s yummy shiny satin, long and soft, ready to wear art to wear. Link in bio.
Fleet Feet is not just a store for running gear, it’s a dedicated group of mentors and coaches with running programs to support runners at all levels! On Halloween morning Chris and I went out to support runners doing a long training run so they’d have water and treats to keep them going. It was a gorgeous morning right on the river too in Haggin Park on the running trail. They are training for the CIM happening on December 5th here in Sacramento.
A little pre-Halloween fun in anticipation of the ghoulish occasion. Photos from a school field trip, animations and movie made with mobile apps on my iphone. Nice way to play and create!
Feeling the fire to create, pulled an image off and reimagined it till it screamed done! iPad fun. I liked this photo because of her directness— and asymmetric hair. There’s a simplicity to the original. I could see into the future. In a pinch and need great copyright free images? Yeah, Pixabay. Then let your imagination do the rest.
Just kidding! Over coffee this morning I got sidetracked on Snapchat! Such a fun way to get silly and inspire a billion ideas for future stuff to do with the filter craziness.
Busy making these gorgeous totes using my original artwork printed onto fabric. Such rich colors! Interested? Message me!
Before and After example for students learning mobile apps— creating layouts and editing photos.
It’s a little hard to know precisely what’s happening here— there are options! But glad they appeared to go merrily on their way in the end.
I got big ideas, don’t you? What are they? Do tell! :)
In honor of these beautiful, intelligent and powerful creatures— Elephants!
Hello Beautiful! Xoxoxo
Claude the albino alligator circles around to greet spectators at the Dan Francisco Academy of Sciences. A staffer told us Claude is usually very still so it was unusual that he was moving around so much Saturday. He’s huge and beautiful and may have been inspired by the massive audience. The museum was absolutely packed with people, all wearing masks thankfully. This was one of the first major visits Chris and I have made to a public venue in a very long time. It’s a great place to go too— in face all of Golden Gate Park is wonderful and so worthy of a trip.
I recently came across a treasure— three of my mothers drawings from the 50’s. In honor of a fun trend called do this is your style— I took the project in using her images to inspire a 2021 digital reinterpretation. Fun project! All done on iPad.
Yay for today! Just got some custom fabric in with my art on it and making a few cross body totes with the coolest LOVE straps too— they’ll be roughly 12.5 square. A very efficient size for going out and about. Setting up and excited to sew for a bit today. Time and space have been at a premium but making it work. Denim lined inside and still debating on what fabric will be the back side. Nice to be off the computer or device for a bit while creating. 🤪🥰😁🤩
Beautiful quote about joy by Thich Nhat Hanh. Taking a few minutes out this morning to reflect on joy and gratitude. There is much worthy of pondering. :) Wishing the same for you.
