🎃 Last week was our Pumpkin Harvest Day! 🎃

Our pumpkins were ready, so the kids got to trim them from the vines and harvest them from our garden! They’ve watched these pumpkins grow from tiny sprouts into big, beautiful pumpkins, and today they got to enjoy the best part, picking them! 🧡

There’s something special about growing it yourself. 🎃 I’m pleased that we were able to harvest any. We’ve tried growing pumpkins before and didn’t get anything. So this is special. And it was all started by reading the book Pumpkin Jack!

This sweet boy just turned ONE this week, and he’s already decided he’s ready for a big kid milestone! 🥹💛 Nolan has transitioned from a pack n play to a nap mat right alongside his older sister and friends. He’s doing wonderfully!

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that children show us when they’re ready for that next step. We don’t have to rush them, but we also don’t have to hold them back simply because of their age. When a child is ready to transition, it can be such a beautiful sign of growing independence, confidence, security, and feeling like they belong with their little community.

Every child develops at their own pace, and we follow their cues. Some are ready sooner, some need more time and both are perfectly okay.
I’m just so thankful for the wonderful little humans I get to spend my days with. Watching them grow, learn from one another, and become more independent is one of the sweetest parts of what I do. Seeing this newly ONE-year-old snoozing on his mat with his big sister and friends makes my heart so happy. 💛

We had so much fun celebrating this sweet, silly, wild little guy! We are so lucky to have Nolan as part of our Lil Dandelions family and can’t wait to see what adventures, giggles, and growth this next year brings.

🇩🇪✈️ Our trip to Germany has begun!

Today we kicked off our Germany adventure with a tasty German snack: Curly—a crunchy peanut classic made with freshly ground peanuts! 🥜 The children absolutely loved them! I enjoy watching the children try new foods and seeing their big smiles and talking amongst one another about what they thought of the food.

To make our adventure even more immersive, we filled the playschool with cheerful German music while we explored together. 🌍🎶

One of our favorite things at Lil Dandelions Playschool is discovering different cultures through food, music, and hands on experiences. Learning about the world can be so much fun!
