The story of Cesar Estrada Chavez begins near Yuma, Arizona. Cesar was born on March 31, 1927. He was named after his grandfather, Cesario. Regrettably, the story of Cesar Estrada Chavez also ends near Yuma, Arizona. He passed away on April 23, 1993, in San Luis, a small village near Yuma, Arizona.

Hey Everyone!
Tomorrow we will be holding a Writing Workshop with the company of Professor Pappas, it'll be on the third floor of the Union in the Valley Suite from 5-6pm. We'll be going over "How to Be a Better Writer" and much more. Please feel free to bring your work with you and we'll be happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. This is a great opportunity to improve on your writing skills, especially since that's pretty much all us soc majors do!! Hope to see you all there :)
