The saddest part of my job is when a child moves on from my child care. Whether it be off to school or moving, it is always difficult to see them go. Jayden came to us a year ago, but his mom has finished her school time and they have decided to move to L.A. I will miss them terribly, but know that this is a wonderful opportunity for them and wherever they are, they will be such a great asset to anyone around them. Good luck to them and I will miss my little Jayjay...feeling emotional :'(
Summer time and school is out...Woo Hoo!! The first week out has been so much fun. A field trip to the library and Fort Natomas park, doughnut decorating and a scavenger hunt. Next week will be dress up week with one day as everyone's favorite day...Pajama/slipper day, then green day...everyone wears green, mismatched/crazy socks day, inside out day...everyone wears their clothes inside out and water day...water balloons, slip and slide, pool and water games!! Fun, fun, fun!!
Today was back to school for the older kids. They were all happy with their new teachers and classes!! That makes me happy!! The teachers kids in my child care are back and we are on a regular schedule now!! The first day back was a VERY busy, but awesome day!! I LOVE my job!! Here's to a great start to the new school year!! My child care/preschool is full and have a waiting list. What a great feeling :o)
Started a new FT 3 year old little boy today in my preschool/child care and he is the cutest, smartest kid!! Welcome Jayden!! I am all full in my childcare and preschool and happy to have the opportunity to work with such great and smart kids!! I love what I do!!

One position left to fill and I have had many calls, should have it filled this week. Yay!! I have the best kids and parents and I feel so blessed to have such great people to work with!!
