Today is Dongzhi (Winter Solstice festival)!!!! It is the first day of winter according to the Chinese calendar which marks the maturity of children leading to the next year. It is one of the important holidays of China where people celebrate together by eating tangyuan (a glutinous rice usually with a sweet filling) which symbolizes reunion. Enjoy the holidays!!!!

Hope you enjoy your 3 day weekend!!! CCC's 2nd food sale will be on Monday November 14 after school, so remember to stop by the front of the school to buy Chinese food!!!
