Celebration Arts is proudly celebrating our 40th year as Sacramento’s Premier Black Theatre, and 50 years since we were originally established as a dance company in 1976.

Half a century later, we’re beyond excited to return to our dance roots! 💃🏽

We are elated to welcome two thoroughly experienced and embodied instructors for our inaugural dance courses: S/BAD (Sacramento Black Art of Dance) and CA Alum Elvvin Nathan Jones as our new Dance Coordinator, and Celebration Arts Dance Company Co-Founder Elaine Gosine as our Senior Dance Instructor.

Nathan will be teaching Afro-Modern Dance on Sundays from 10:00 - 11:30 AM.

Elaine will be leading classes specialized for seniors, which include Stretch & Strengthening, Beginner/Intermediate Tap, Beginner/Intermediate Modern Jazz, and Beginner/Intermediate Polynesian on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. 🌟
