CS4NorCal, and Tanja Ramming, the CS Champion in Modoc County have been invited to present at the Engaging Communities in STEM webinar. Tanja will be presenting how she recruited a variety of community partners to engage in CS in Modoc County. We will also be presenting alongside another EIR grantee, Aaron Thomas, Project Director of the Montana American Indian Math Science. This will be a highly engaging and valuable webinar.

Over 70 educators and administrators from across Northern California attended a Computer Science (CS) training June 10-14th at the University Preparatory School in Redding. Over half the educators who attended were elementary teachers poised to inspire younger generations to learn more about coding, problem-solving and computational thinking. The other participants were middle school teachers and school administrators looking to expand their computer science skills. Congratulations to all who completed these amazing workshops!
