Hollywood Park Elementary School

Dear Hollywood Park Families,

I wanted to make you aware of an incident that occurred today. All students are safe, and school is proceeding as normally scheduled.

One of our students had an outburst in their classroom today and caused damage to school property, but there was no harm to any of their classmates. As part of this incident, the same student pulled a fire alarm in the cafeteria. The Sacramento Fire Department quickly responded to the alarm, but there was no fire at our school today.

The student involved in this incident will be referred for appropriate disciplinary action. If your student is experiencing any stress or trauma as a result of witnessing these incidents please let us know so that we can connect them to Student Support Services.

Another complicated schedule. Thursday is regular 2:12, Friday back to 1:25 for the beginning of conference week. December 8-12 is all shortened day at 1:25.
The Winter Program is December 19th. Then the kids are on break again until January.

I know this week has been confusing with dates and times.
Tuesday was day off for Veterans Day. Thursday is minimum day as always - 2:12. Friday is Reports and Records Day dismissal 1:25.

Turkey Trot

Good Morning Superstars! Monday is the 61st day of school and the WOW is POSITIVITY! We are congratulating our football team. They played hard on Friday night. Hold your heads high Superstars…it was a great season.
There is no school on Tuesday! It is Veteran’s Day. We wrote letters and sent some art to our community to say thank you for your service. We appreciate all of the donations to our local food bank. We strongly believe in supporting all in need.
Friday, November 14th is the minimum day for Reports and Records. Please pick your students up on time at 1:25. New Hope is still open after school.
