Financial Planning Association CSU, Sacramento We are a student organization devoted to “bridging the gap” between Sacramento State University Who is FPA? All FPA members are asked to commit to this Code.

We are the largest membership organization for personal financial planning experts in the U.S. Our members adhere to the highest standards of professional competence, ethical conduct and clear, complete disclosure to those they serve. FPA advocates a complete fiduciary standard for all finan

cial planners and believes that all financial planning services shall be delivered in accordance with the FPA Standard of Care and the FPA Code of Ethics. We are at the forefront of legislative issues that protect consumers and promote the highest standards of professional conduct. FPA Standard of Care
-Put the client’s best interests first
-Act with due care in utmost good faith
-Do not mislead clients
-Provide full and fair disclosure of all material facts
-Disclose and fairly manage all material conflicts of interest

FPA Code of Ethics
FPA includes a mandate that members adhere to a Code of Ethics that reflects their commitment to help clients achieve their goals. Local Chapters
A nationwide network of nearly 100 chapters is the lifeblood of FPA. Each chapter promotes the advancement of knowledge in financial planning; supporting programs and projects that help Americans learn the benefits of financial planning.
