On May 8th, we celebrated our CAMP students for completing their first year of college! Your hard work, resilience, and dedication continue to inspire us everyday. Here’s to finishing strong, growing together, and being part of the CAMP Familia! 🏡📚

As for our staff, thank you for creating new opportunities for the next generation. These moments and memories create a lasting impact on our students and provide the spark when needed the most. ✨🏕️

We would also like to give a big shout out to for providing the CAMP letters for our ceremony! 🔥💡

With that, we would like to congratulate the CAMP class of 25’ - 26’ for sticking with it and persevering! 💚💐

✨Denim Day is more than wearing denim, it is a powerful statement of support, awareness, and solidarity with survivors of sexual violence. 👖✨

Today, CAMP stands in solidarity and in full support of survivors, recognizing the strength it takes to heal, speak up, and continue forward. We believe every survivor deserves to be heard, supported, and treated with dignity and respect. No one should ever have to face these experiences alone.

As a community rooted in resilience, empowerment, and opportunity, we are committed to helping create spaces where students feel safe, valued, and supported. Sacramento State offers important campus resources for anyone seeking guidance, care, or assistance. We encourage our students to review the flyer, save these resources, and share them with others who may need them.

Together, we can continue to raise awareness, break the silence, and build a stronger, safer community for all.

“If I had to describe my role, I would have to say it’s a very diverse and fun role. I get to work with lots of equipment in order to cover and be a part of various events such as CAMP Admitted Day, La Bienvenida, Chicanx/Latinx Recognition Ceremony, etc. I do this by the use of photography, videography, and social media. With this being said, I would like to bring more exposure to the program so more students are able to get help with their first year of college just like I did.” - Alexis Palomares
