College Glen Little League

The College Glen Junior Dodgers were down 3 heading to the bottom of the 7th in tonight's TOC Championship Game. The first 3 hitters all reached to lead off the inning, cutting the lead to 6-4 with 2 on and nobody out. The rally was on! A walk would load the bases later in the inning, but the Dodgers couldn't get that last hit they needed. 6-4 was the final. So close.
CG is proud of your battle, Dodgers! It was a great season.

Now on to All Stars, which starts next week!

It's another 1-run TOC victory for our Junior Dodgers! A big 6th inning propelled the Dodgers to a come-from-behind 6-5 win over Arden Black which gets them into tomorrow's Championship Game!

The Dodgers go for the banner Tuesday evening at 5:30 against Arden Gold out at Northridge Little League - Citrus Heights. Let's show them some support and show up strong to root on our boys! Gooooooo CG!

An incredible season for the CG Minor Yankees came to an unfortunate close Saturday in the TOC finals with an 11-1 loss. The Yankees didn't lose a single game during the CG season, and won their first four (!) TOC games in a crazy seven days before running into a tough Citrus Heights Twins team. We're all proud of you Yankees, way to represent CG!

The D5 Juniors TOCs is the only tournament still going, and our Dodgers are still alive thanks to a hard-fought 3-2 win over the Northridge Quacks Saturday morning. They now play Arden Black Monday at 5:30 at Northridge LL. A win moves them into the Championship game on Tuesday!

They did it again!
Congratulations to our Minor Yankees who won yet again, 17-7 over the Rancho Cordova Mets, to advance to the Minors TOC Championship happening Saturday at 10:00 against the Citrus Heights Twins at Rosemont LL. They would love the CG support at such a big game, so come on out!

That's 4 wins in 7 days for the Yankees, and one more win tomorrow would secure College Glen's first Baseball TOC banner since 2023 (Junior Cubs).

The Junior Dodgers are back in action tomorrow at 9:00 against the Northridge Quacks at Northridge LL. A win would send them to the Semi Finals on Monday.

Well it was the end of the road for our Major Brewers last night with a tough 4-1 loss to the Arden Dodgers. They got on the board first, but a late 3-run HR did them in. It was a great season, Brewers!

Make the short trip over to Rosemont Little League tonight to support our Minor Yankees in their big Semi Final matchup against Rancho Cordova. Winner moves on to the Championship Game Saturday morning! Game starts at 5:30, let's show them some CG love. Go Yankees!

Those resilient Minors Yankees just keep winning! They've now played four out of the last five days, and today knocked out the Northridge Dodgers 9-1 to advance to the SemiFinals on Friday against the Rancho Cordova Mets. With the win they earned themselves a well-deserved day off on Thursday.

Our Juniors Rivercats were defeated by Arden Gold tonight 15-9 to end their TOC run. Congratulations on a great season and winning the CG Juniors Championship, Rivercats!

The Majors Brewers will be back in action tomorrow (Thursday) evening against the Arden Dodgers at 5:30 at Arcade Creek LL to try and advance to the SemiFinals. Come on out and support our boys!

Tuesday was a big night for College Glen with three TOC victories!!!

Let's start with the Minors Yankees who resumed their thrilling game suspended last night due to darkness heading into extra innings. They rallied after the first two got out in the top of the 7th and scratched out a run to go ahead 11-10. After a leadoff walk in the bottom half, the Yankees got the next 3 outs to hang on to beat the Carmichael A's 11-10!
What's their reward? Another game tomorrow night against the Northridge Dodgers at Rosemont LL! Gotta love TOCs!

The Major Brewers got their TOC off to a fast start with a 7-2 victory over the Carmichael Tigers. They now play Thursday against the Arden Dodgers at Arcade Creek LL.

Same for the Junior Dodgers who laid the smack down on the Sunrise Pirates 19-2! They now play Saturday at 9:00 vs the Northridge Quacks at Northridge LL.

The Junior Rivercats finally get involved in the action with their first game Wednesday against Arden Gold at Northridge LL.

Crazy TOC game last night, and it's still not over!
Our Minor Yankees battled back from an early 7-2 deficit to take a 1-run lead into the bottom of the 6th. Carmichael rallied to tie the score and had bases loaded with 1 out. But the Yankees rose to the challenge and hung on for dear life getting a strikeout and then a ground ball out to force extra innings!

At that point the game had to be suspended due to darkness, and will be resumed in the top of the 7th with the score tied 10-10 at Arden Little League at 5:30 today (Tuesday). Gotta love it!

Major Brewers and Junior Dodgers begin their TOC journey tonight. Let's gooooo CG!

TOCs update:
Both Minors teams were in action on Saturday, with the Yankees besting the Citrus Heights Giants 7-4 to move on to face the Carmichael A's tonight. Keep rolling, Yanks!

The Brewers battled hard with lots of hits but came up just short in a 12-11 loss to the Arcade Creek Mariners, so their season is over. Great year, Brewers!

On the Majors side, the CG #1 seed Cubs ran up against a buzzsaw in the Arden Cardinals, and fell 2-0. Our Cubs pitchers were dealing (10 K's and no walks), but unfortunately the Cardinals pitching was even better. Great season Cubs, and congrats again for winning the CG championship.

Pink Panthers FTW!
Congrats to the Panthers for winning the Minors Softball TOCs over the Huskies out at College Glen on Thursday night. And how cool was it to have both CG teams make the finals?! Panthers pitcher Marlie Marquardsen had an exceptional game in the circle with 15 strikeouts to lead her team to victory.

In just our second year of softball, both teams had excellent seasons, with the Panthers finishing the regular season 15-1 and the Huskies 11-4. The future is bright for these girls, now on to All Stars!

The boys get their TOCs started Saturday, with 6 CG teams competing in 3 divisions. Let's go CG!
