Welcome to the official Sacramento READS! page. Our vision is that Sacramento will be the first city in the nation where all 3rd graders read on grade level. There are over 8,000 third graders in Sacramento and less than 3,000 are able to read at grade level. Of those students that fall behind by the third grade, 4,000 will never catch up. Together we can change this.
