Under the general direction of the Assistant Deputy Director of Communications and Public Relations, the Staff Services Manager I (Public Records Act Manager) administers and manages the High-Speed Rail Authority’s (Authority) Public Records Act program. The manager is responsible for responding to often sizable and complex Public Records Act (PRA) requests for the Authority. PRA responsibilities will include coordinating with Authority staff and the Authority’s Legal Office to obtain responsive documents, identifying applicable exemptions from disclosure, applying appropriate redactions, drafting acknowledgment and response letters to requestors, and disclosing documents to requestors.
