We've got some hot days coming up, Sacramento! 🥵☀️

The Sacramento Zoo will be closing early Monday, July 1 through Friday, July 5 due to excessive heat for the safety and comfort of zoo staff and guests. Last admittance will be 2pm and guests may stay until 3pm.

Our animals will have access to their cooler indoor areas if they choose, while their caregivers ensure the animals continue to have all they need to be comfortable and cool. The morning is the best time to join us during the hot summer months!

Please note that Summer Camp will carry on as scheduled. Regular zoo hours resume on Saturday, July 6.
