Choices Students and Families - CAASPP Testing begins on Monday, April 20th, and runs for two weeks, through May 1st. Check the schedule to see when you should be on campus to test. No in-person classes will be held during the testing weeks, but all classwork and online assignments are still required and must be turned in by Friday at midnight. Testing is for 6th, 7th, 8th & 11th graders only. If you are in 9th, 10th, or 12th grade, you do not have any tests to take (with a few exceptions for 12th grade).

It is incredibly important for Choices Charter School's success that all students complete these tests. If you need any special accommodations to do so, please let us know how we can help. 😊

Next week is President's Week Break, Feb. 16th - 20th. There will be no school, classes, or new assignments during this time. (Pro Tip: It could be a great time to catch up on some assignments!) Students should be finished with all work through Week 3.

School will be back in session on Monday, Feb. 23rd. Please enjoy the break and come back relaxed, rested, and ready to start Week 4!

This week, our high school students took a field trip to Carrington College and explored real-world career and college opportunities. Carrington offers hands-on training in medical and dental programs, veterinary programs, and electrical technology - giving students a clear view of exciting career possibilities.

The Day of the Dead (el Día de Mu***os) is a holiday traditionally celebrated in Mexico on November 1 and 2 (sometimes Oct. 31st). These Day of the Dead holiday alters were designed by students in Mrs. Espinoza's Spanish classes. They are beautiful and meaningful to each student and their family. Great job and Happy Halloween!
