Like this page to follow the Los Rios Debate Team! The Los Rios Community College District Policy Debate Team is based at Sacramento City College.
The debate team meets regularly at SCC Main Campus, Performance Arts Center, Room 134 on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 2:25 PM - 6:05 PM. If you are interested in joining Los Rios' nationally recognized policy debate team, then you must enroll in the Forensics Laboratory course (COMM 374).

In better news...Congrats to Los Rios alum Sara Beth Brooks and Dan Stanfield on their bid to the prestigious Val Browning Round Robin at Weber State Debate
Los Rios was very saddened to learn about the passing of Charles Mullins. He was a very dedicated member of the forensics community and a very important part of what makes the NCFA such a welcome home for our students. Our condolences go out to his family and his team at Modesto Junior College. Charles coached for us many years ago and has left an incredible legacy in this area. He will be missed.

The Los Rios Speech & Debate team had such a wonderful weekend of competition! We competed at 2 tournaments, DVC and UNLV and we competed in policy debate and individual events.
We are so proud of our team!!!

Christine Kittle (3rd place Extemp Sunday, top novice extemp in open on Saturday, impromptu semi finalist on Sunday)
Daniel and Jasmine did an exllent job in a collapse JV divison with Jasmine debating at her first tournament. Raymond Hamilton also competed at his first tournament and competed in 4 events! Joshua and Manisha held it down for Los Rios in open level against top level teams and we are so proud of their hard work!!
