Every dollar invested in GLO Preemies is an investment in a NICU family finding their footing. ๐Ÿ’œ

We are honored to share that and have sponsored GLO Preemies with $25,000 to help us continue this vital work supporting premature infants and their families.

This is what partnership looks like. This is what progress feels like.

Thank you for believing in our mission. ๐Ÿ‘‘โœจ

The fruit and vegetable benefit can be used at a WIC approved grocery store or at an approved farmerโ€™s market. Families can visit the MyFamily website for more information on the new WIC food options.

Families can either call WIC at (916) 876 โ€“ 5000 to complete an applicant screening over the phone. WIC continues to provide services by appointment only.

On this day, we honor our tiniest fighters and highlight the systems that impact their care including EMTALA, a federal law that requires hospitals to provide emergency care to everyone, regardless of insurance.

For Black mothers, this law is life-saving, ensuring you cannot be turned away during pregnancy-related emergencies like preterm labor, severe pain, or bleeding. But systemic barriers still exist, and too often Black moms face delays or dismissal in care.

Knowing your rights can make all the difference. ๐Ÿ’œ

This November, we honor the tiniest fighters who remind us what courage looks like every day. From the first breath to every milestone towards discharge, their strength inspires us all.

Join us in raising awareness and supporting NICU families. Share your story or tag a parent who inspires you. Together, we are a village of hope and love. ๐Ÿ’•
