청소년들을 위한 온라인 수업 소식입니다. 청소년 회화반은 한국어와 한국 문화에 관심을 가지고 한국어를 배우고 싶어하는 중고등학생 친구들을 위해 마련한 수업입니다. 8월 20일부터 매주 일요일 오후 2시간, 총 10회를 줌으로 만나 비슷한 관심사를 가진 또래들과 줌으로 수업합니다. 한국으로 여행을 간다거나, 한국에 있는 가족들과 한국어로 이야기 하고 싶은 청소년들에게 추천합니다. 한국어 회화를 중점으로 한국문화 및 역사를 영어/한국어로 배웁니다. 지난 수업에서는 자기소개, 장래희망, 여름방학 계획, K-pop 노래 가사등을 공부하며 이야기 나눴습니다.

Announcing our online classes for youth! Our Youth Conversational Class is designed for middle and high school students who are interested in Korean language and culture. We meet on Zoom every Sunday for 2 hours and connect with peers who share similar interests. This is an excellent opportunity for teenagers who want to learn Korean for travel or to converse with family members. Our classes focus on developing Korean conversational skills and learning about Korean culture and history in both English and Korean. In previous classes, we discussed self-introductions, future aspirations, summer vacation plans, and even studied K-pop lyrics. Join us and learn more about the fascinating Korean culture!

Immersion Camp for youth group

2023-2024학년 가을학기 온라인 기초반 등록을 진행중입니다. 온라인 기초반은 한글 자모음을 익히고 본격적인 읽기를 시작하는 6세 이상의 초등학생을 위한 반으로 매주 월, 목요일 주2회 오후 5-6시까지 한 시간동안 줌에서 만나 함께 공부합니다. 기초반은 커리큘럼에 따라 각 세션이 8-10주 간격으로 순회하며 진행되는데요, 기본 자모음 배우기부터 짧은 글을 읽고 이해하는 연습까지 모든 세션을 마치면 혼자 한글을 읽게 되는 것을 목표합니다.

7월 말부터 시작되는 세션1에서는 한글을 처음 배우는 학생들을 위해 기초부터 시작합니다. ㅏ,ㅕ,ㅓ,ㅕ 기본 모음 10개부터 시작해서 ㄱ부터 ㅎ까지 14개의 자음을 배웁니다. 한글을 처음 배우는 6세 이상의 학생들에게 추천합니다. 또 이제 막 한글 배우기를 시작했지만 여러 사정으로 토요일 대면수업에 등록하지 못하는 학생들에게는 이번 온라인 수업이 자모음을 복습할 수 있는 좋은 기회입니다.

We are happy to inform you that the registration for the Fall Semester of the 2023-2024 academic year for our online basic class is now open. The basic class is intended for students in elementary school who are 6 years old and above. It will teach them the Korean alphabet, Hangul, and how to read. The class is conducted on Zoom twice a week, every Monday and Thursday, from 5 pm to 6 pm, and lasts for one hour.

The basic class will last for 8-10 weeks and follow a curriculum that covers various sessions. Each session aims to help students learn to read Hangul independently, starting from the basic alphabet to practicing reading short passages. Session 1 will begin at the end of July and is recommended for students who are new to learning Hangul. It will start with 10 basic vowels and progress to 14 consonants. This session is ideal for students aged 6 and above who are just starting to learn Hangul. The online class is also an excellent opportunity for students who are unable to attend in-person Saturday classes due to various reasons but have recently started learning Hangul.
