Want your child to love cleanliness? Keep it simple:

✅ Give rewards (praise, stickers, a “helper” badge)
⏱️ Set a time limit (2–5 minutes is perfect for preschoolers)
🎲 Make it a game (“Toy Rescue,” “Color Hunt,” “Beat the Timer”)
🔁 Make it a habit (same routine every day: play → clean → next activity)

This is common in many children. Here’s what works:

✅ One calm boundary: “No phone right now. I’m here.”
✅ Name the feeling, keep the limit: “You’re upset. It’s ok to be upset. Not ok to scream/hit.”
✅ Redirect with 2 choices: “Crayons or blocks?”
✅ Make screens predictable: “Phone is after ___.”

At Alefe, we teach children how to handle “no” through routines, emotion coaching (English & Arabic), visual cues, and calm-down tools, so they learn to request, wait, and regulate without meltdowns.
