💜✨ National Nonprofit Day – August 17 ✨💜
🌎 Today, on National Nonprofit Day, I want to take a moment to recognize the incredible organizations, staff members, volunteers, advocates, and community partners who dedicate themselves to serving others. 🤝💕
💜 For me, this day is also personal.
🌸 I am honored to serve families through Shades of Motherhood Network and Fathers for Families, supporting communities in Spokane, Washington, and Sacramento, California. 🏡💜
🤝 Working in the nonprofit community has allowed me to witness firsthand what happens when people come together with a shared purpose.
Sometimes impact looks like connecting a mother or father with a much-needed resource. 🧭
Sometimes it is providing Peer Support or Parent Support. 💕👨👩👧👦
Sometimes it is offering encouragement during a difficult season, helping someone navigate services, or simply making sure a person knows they do not have to navigate life alone. 🫶🏽🌱
💡 Nonprofit work is about more than programs and services.
❤️ It is about people.
🤝 It is about relationships.
👂🏽 It is about listening.
🌱 It is about meeting communities where they are.
🧭 It is about connecting families to resources.
💪🏽 And it is about helping people gain the tools, support, and confidence they need to move forward and thrive.
🙏🏽 I am grateful for the opportunity to do work that allows me to pour into mothers, fathers, children, and families while helping strengthen the communities we serve. 💜
🎉 On National Nonprofit Day, I celebrate every person working behind the scenes and on the front lines to make their community a little stronger, healthier, and more connected. 🌎🤝💕
💜 It is an honor to serve. 💜
