Another view of Park Güell, with the Gracia neighborhood of Barcelona and the Balearic Sea in the background, plus a little shoutout to our flag football chaperones: assistant athletics director Kelly Ketcham and head JV coach Matt Lemes!

And with temperatures reaching the high 90s in Sacramento tomorrow, their choice of a frozen dessert just might be in the cards for everyone following this WorldStrides journey from home

Not sure if they're yelling "seis-siete" but clearly, to the children of Catalonia, the meme has not yet become "so dos mil veinticinco."

Our Troubie volleyballers got a warmup for the St. Francis summer camp later this month by holding a clinic for local 10- and 11-year-olds, then scored a three-set win in a match against the host club

The similarities went beyond the red jerseys and the shared fondness of TikTok: St. Francis volleyball's first match of the trip resulted in – oh yes – a tie. The Troubies visited historic Barcelona, including the Basílica de la Sagrada Família, the world's tallest church.

How tall? At 566 feet, it dwarf's Sacramento's tallest building, the 423-foot Wells Fargo Center, and would stand quite comparably to the two taller buildings in San Francisco's Embarcadero Center.

Game of Thrones fans might wonder how this merry band of Troubadours ended up in Westeros, but this is in fact the Cathedral of Saint Mary in Girona, Catalonia – a stop following our girls' first flag football game of the team's World Strides trip to Spain!
