Phil Tulga - Music through the Curriculum Phil Tulga received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music from the Eastman School of Music.

For the last 30 years, he has presented educational programs at elementary schools, and taught music courses at American River College and CSU, Sacramento. Phil Tulga received his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in music from the Eastman School of Music in Rochester, New York. He now resides in Sacramento where he plays professionally withe Music Circus orchestra, teaches Jazz History, Improvisati

on and Trombone at CSUS, and presents Arts Integration programs and teacher training at elementary schools. Phil has been honored by the Mayor and the Sacramento City Council for his work in the area of arts education. As a professional musician, he has performed with the Sacramento Symphony, Ballet, and Opera orchestras, as well as jazz/pop greats including Natalie Cole, Tony Bennett, Ray Charles, Lady Gaga, and Ella Fitzgerald.
