The Mathematics Association of American River College (aka MAARC or Math Club) is an organization for ARC students interested in Mathematics.

MAARC members joined the rest of ARC for the November 2015 Club Day. The theme was Alice in Wonderland and we paid tribute to the author Lewis Carroll aka Charles Dodgson, the great symbolic logician, by echoing his fashion sense. Members then joined other clubs to play a round of Human Chess.

We sold lots of pies to increase club funds! Thanks to those who bought a pie and also to those who gave a donation to the club! If you didn't get a pie, don't worry!! We'll do another fundraiser next Semester around March 14th.

Monday (11/16/15 at 11:30) is going to be a special MAARC meeting at our usual Club Meeting Room. We'll be talking about a great program called NASA Community College Aerospace Scholars (NCAS). Join us to find out how to get in the program, what to expect, and tips on how to get selected for the onsite experience. Check out some photos of the the October 2015 NCAS that MAARC members were chosen to go to!

MAARC participated in the Sept 24, 2015 Club Day at American River College. It was a really fun day and we won the award for Best Game!!
