We’re still taking it all in! ✨️ Fifteen years ago, CASA de ESPAÑOL started as a small dream rooted in language, culture, and community. To see so many people come together to celebrate this milestone with us was so incredibly moving and humbling.

Thank you to everyone who came out to our 15 Year Anniversary Kickoff Celebration.

Whether you’ve been part of CASA since the early days or just recently found us, your presence, encouragement, and continued support have helped sustain and grow this space over the years. CASA has always been community-built, and it continues to exist because so many people have believed in the importance of creating spaces for language, culture, art, and community.

We are deeply grateful to Vice Mayor Karina Talamantes, Mayor Pro Tem Eric Guerra, Councilmember Phil Pluckebaum, Consul General Christian Tonatiuh González, Cathy Rodríguez Aguirre of the Sacramento Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, and Doris Matsui's office for your generous words and recognition. Hearing reflections about CASA, and about our work, truly meant a lot to us.

Thank you as well to all of the friends, students, artists, community members, vendors, and supporters who helped make the evening feel so full of warmth and joy.

Huge appreciation to DJs My Cousin Vinny and Mike Diamond for the music and vibes throughout the night, to Telemundo33 and Sacramento Republic FC for being wonderful community partners, and to our sponsor Urban Roots for their amazing support and partnership.

We’re also grateful that the evening could serve a greater purpose beyond celebrating CASA. Together, we raised $2,416 in support of Corremos Sacramento and Give2Cuba!

This night reminded us that CASA has always been shaped by the people and community around it. Over the years, so many individuals have contributed their time, energy, creativity, and support to help make this space what it is today. We feel very grateful to be part of a community that continues to show up for one another.

Thank you for 15 beautiful years. 💛
