CASA de ESPAÑOL

Sacramento's premier Spanish language school. We offer classes for kids, teens, and adults! We offer Spanish classes for kids, teens, and adults at all levels.

Our classes are developed to optimize progress based on each student’s goals, interests, and needs. It mixes fun in-class and online activities with dynamic and creative methods of teaching that immerse students in not just the language, but Spanish and Latin American culture.

It was an absolutely magical night at the 5th Annual Festival del Mole! ✨ From the incredible flavors and beautiful music to the joy of coming together as a community for a good cause, the evening was truly unforgettable.

🌶️✨ Festival del Mole is this Saturday! ✨🌶️

Join us at CASA de ESPAÑOL for a beautiful evening of mole, mariachi, dancing, culture, and community.

Your ticket includes tastings of all six artisanal moles, plus a special chilate tasting, a non-alcoholic cacao and rice-based drink. Vegan mole options will also be available.

This year’s Festival del Mole is also especially meaningful: 50% of the night’s proceeds go directly to the HelpChiapas 2027 Community Health Project, helping us continue community-based work in Chiapas, Mexico that we’ve been building for over a decade.

The festival will take place in the shaded, cemented parking area in front of CASA. Restrooms and an air-conditioned area will be available inside if you need to cool off.

🎶 Event Schedule
6:30 pm: Doors open and Mariachi La Familia begins
6:30 to 8:30 pm: Mole tastings served
7:30 pm: Remarks from the Consul General of Mexico, followed by María Harrington and Chef Ramiro Alarcón sharing more about the moles and CASA’s connection to HelpChiapas
8:00 to 9:00 pm: Mariachi continues
9:00 to 11:00 pm: Dancing opens free to the public

A bar will also be available for drink purchases.

Already purchased tickets? Wristbands will be available for pickup this Friday from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm at CASA de ESPAÑOL. They will also be available under your name or organization at the entrance on Saturday night.

Wear comfortable shoes and come ready to eat, dance, and celebrate.

Thank you to everyone who has already donated! Many of you asked, so we’re continuing to collect relief items Wednesday through Friday at CASA de ESPAÑOL from 4:00–6:00 pm to support families impacted by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela.

We’re accepting bottled water, non-perishable food, infant formula, basic over-the-counter medications, personal hygiene products, toilet paper, diapers, and cleaning supplies.

Please note: we are not accepting clothing at this time.

Festival del Mole is back! 🤎🌶️

This event means so much to us. Every year, Festival del Mole brings our community together around one of Mexico’s most beautiful culinary traditions: mole. It’s a dish rooted in family, memory, celebration, and care. Recipes are passed down, flavors are layered, and every mole tells a story.

But this night is also about something bigger.
Festival del Mole is our largest fundraiser of the year, helping support our Community Health Project in Chiapas, Mexico. Through this work, we help create meaningful connections between Sacramento and communities in Chiapas through service, learning, and cross-cultural exchange.
When you buy a ticket, you’re not just joining us for an evening of incredible food, music, and dancing. You’re helping us continue work that is rooted in community, culture, and connection across borders.
