The Sacramento State Department of Design invites you to join us on Thursday, May 15 in the University Union to celebrate our students with a showcase of their work!

We will be welcoming visitors between 4-7:30 P.M.

Come see the incredible talent and creativity of our students as they display their work in design studies, graphic design, interior architecture, and photography. This is a great opportunity for industry professionals, alumni, community members, friends, and family to see the results of the hard work and dedication our students have put into their time here at Sacramento State. Don't miss out on this exciting event!

You will find Design Studies and Graphic Design located in the Cottonwood Suite on the 2nd floor.

Interior Architecture will be located in the Pacific Suite on the 3rd floor. With additional presentations of work in the Foothill Suite and the Summit Room also on the 3rd floor.

Photography will be located in the Green and Gold Room on the 3rd floor.

Parking is available for this event on May 15 from 4-8PM without a permit in Parking Structure 2 in student spaces, as well as in Parking Lot 5 in student spaces (Disabled Placard Required).

Students in DSGN 4: Design & Thinking and Sacramento police officers discuss the power dynamic encoded in the design of police uniforms. Students related experiences that have shaped and shifted the significance of the uniform for them and their communities.

Welcome to all our New Students & their Families! Join us for The New Student & Family Convocation on August 24th!
The New Student & Family Convocation serves as the official welcome to the Hornet Family for all newly admitted students and their families. This academic ceremony serves as a welcome to the University and to the academic colleges, and as an introduction to Sacramento State’s institutional values. Convocation also celebrates this momentous step in each student’s academic journey.
Convocation ceremonies serve to "bookend" each student's collegiate experience, with convocation as the opening ceremony and commencement as the final goal.
All fall 2023 admitted first-year, transfer, and graduate students, and their guests are invited to attend.

LOCATION CHANGE! Hello everyone. Due to unforeseen venue scheduling conflicts we have a change in location for our Annual Spring Show tomorrow. We are still on campus in the University Union, but we are split between three rooms on two floors.

Same time 4-7:30PM.

Graphic Design will be located in the Cottonwood Suite on the 2nd floor.

Interior Architecture will be located in the Foothill Suite on the 3rd floor.

Photography will be located in the Green and Gold Room on the 3rd floor.

We apologize for the shake up and encourage you to explore all three rooms to celebrate our graduating seniors.
