Building Community, Reflecting on What Matters. Over the past two weeks, Jesuit parents from every grade level gathered for our Parent Dinners, sharing a meal, building connections, and reflecting on the values that shape our students' journeys.

Each evening focused on one of the qualities of our Grad at Grad, exploring how we partner together in forming your student to become Open to Growth, Intellectually Competent, Religious, Loving, and Committed to Justice.

Thank you to all the parents who joined us. Your partnership, support, and commitment to our mission help make the Jesuit experience so meaningful. We are grateful to walk this journey together as one community, united this year in forming Men for Others.

The Parent Dinners also served as the kick-off in support of the Jesuit Fund. Our Parent Campaign runs now through October 25. Together, we can strengthen the programs, opportunities, and experiences that make a Jesuit education possible. Learn more ⬇️

Standing guard outside the Harris Center, an authentic piece of history reminds us what it means to be Men and Women for Others.

For the 10th anniversary of September 11 in 2011, then-freshman Alex Aprea set out to bring a piece of Ground Zero directly to Sacramento.

Inspired by a family meeting with the president of the 9/11 Tribute Museum in New York, Alex secured an authentic piece of recovered World Trade Center girder steel.

What began as a three-week public exhibit at Cesar Chavez Park in downtown Sacramento was later brought home to the Jesuit High School campus as an Eagle Scout project, cementing a permanent space for solemn reflection.

Today, on the 25th anniversary, the monument continues standing permanently near the Harris Center and the main entrance into the heart of campus. Each year, our community gathers around this sacred beam for an annual 9/11 tribute ceremony—ensuring we never forget the lives lost and the legacy of service that defines our community.

❤️💛 On this Labor Day, our campus is quiet, but it allows us an opportunity to reflect on the many people who make Jesuit High School Sacramento such a special place.

Today, we're grateful for the faculty, staff, coaches, volunteers, Jesuits, and countless others whose dedication helps make our school a place where students are supported and inspired each day.
