The Brave Society’s mission is to create awareness that demands accountability while calling for action. We must create a climate of trust for our children.

BRAVE is a solution focused organization that centers on transformational resiliency. We all look at what we see, now it’s time to focus on what we feel and don't see. We are not afraid to ask the difficult question of our children, are we worthy of their trust. Our organization addresses the many forms that peer abuse can take and gives in return solutions that will carry you into your adulthood.

I will never understand why so many people are silent in the face of any type of peer abuse. This is an extremely sensitive subject for me as my youngest son was destroyed by murdering words. Society tends to underestimate the common cruelty that takes place in schools by calling it bullying. Which in of itself is so painful for those who are touched by the verbal rampage of peer abuse. When we dismiss the verbal atrocities of our youth, please don’t be surprised when those children grow up to commit even worse acts violence. The acceptance of violence along with the glorification of violence needs to stop! We need to speak life over our children and we need to demand a better plan for dealing with any type of violence in our educational institutions.

I will never understand why people which make up our schools, churches and businesses have such issues with discussing tough topics with each other, with students, with congregants.

Please understand it is the silence that pulls the trigger, hangs the rope or pops the pill.

This statistic should make every single educator stand up and demand change in how schools deal with abuse by their peers and if you are not - well then you are part of the problem.
