Filipino American History Month commemorates the 1st Filipino immigrants who arrived in the United States in October, 1587. California is the home to a large majority of Filipino Americans, and Filipino Americans have been a vital and important part of our own history as anesthesiologists. The CSA looks forward to continuing to work towards reducing health disparities and building bridges with the Filipino community.
