Today we pause to remember the lives taken by overdose and to support the families forever changed by this loss.
Overdose does not discriminate. It affects every community, every background, and every age group. Yet it is preventable.
As California’s physician anesthesiologists, the CSA is committed to:
Safe, evidence-based pain management
Expanding access to naloxone and overdose education
Reducing the stigma that prevents people from seeking help
Supporting treatment and recovery
