We spent some quiet time today sitting with a sunflower 🌻

Our class observed its petals, the textured center, the gentle curve of the stem, taking in the little details at their own pace. Still life gave them space to slow down, to notice, and to create what they saw and felt in their own way.

Each piece carries their perspective, thoughtful, curious, and beautifully individual.

Our classroom made its own Stone Soup this week 🍲✨

Each child brought a little something to share, then worked together to wash, prep, and mix our ingredients. When the soup was ready, we all sat down to enjoy a meal we created as a community. Grateful for these moments of togetherness, teamwork, and the joy that comes from contributing to something we all share 🍂❤️

Art Beast Studio is currently enrolling, we offer full and part time care to toddlers and preschoolers.

Our center is located at 2226 K Street in midtown Sacramento.

Our center offers a community of children, parents, and teachers engaged in play based learning that values child choice, social justice, culturally competent curriculum, and the natural world.

Our program brings great intention to ensuring children are provided learning experiences, role models, and literature that portray all gender identities equally as protagonists and as people who can be brave, adventurous, heroic, gentle, loving, mischievous, and spirited ✨
