Our Curriculum:
Our curriculum was developed by Blanca Lawton, founder of the Spanish Immersion Program. Alejandra Zepeda, Director, continues to develop it with a comprehensive approach that combines structured lessons with symbolic play activities and developmentally appropriate learning experiences. The foundation of our program strongly encourages individuality and expression through imaginative play, exploration, music, dance, art, and culture. The curriculum of The Spanish Immersion Program is divided into the following areas:
• Conversational Spanish, practical Spanish, and daily routines
• Symbolic play / learning through play
• Hispanic culture and traditions
• Language workbooks and learning materials
• Creative subjects (art and crafts, music, rhythm, and movement)
• Fine and gross motor development
