I want to take a minute to recognize Sophia for an incredible accomplishment. Yesterday, she became a Master Worlds champion at brown belt.
Anybody who has competed at that level knows how difficult it is to accomplish something like that. Sophia is an incredible competitor, she works hard, she’s disciplined, and she always shows up ready to perform.
But what I’m most proud of isn’t just the medals or the wins. It’s the kind of teammate she is.
Sophia has always been loyal and dedicated to this team. She’s constantly helping the people around her get better, sharing what she knows, encouraging her teammates, and doing whatever she can to help the room improve. She’s a real team player, and she represents exactly what we want our team to be about.
Winning Master Worlds is a huge accomplishment, and nobody deserves that moment more.
