Today we celebrated an incredible milestone as our 8th graders were promoted to high school! 🎓

We are so proud of all they have accomplished during their time at Pioneer. They have grown academically, socially, and personally, and we know they are ready for the exciting journey ahead.

Congratulations, Class of 2026! Keep working hard, chasing your goals, and making a difference wherever you go. Once a Panther, always a Panther! 🐾💙

🏕️🐻 Camp Coolbear was a huge success! 🐻🏕

Today, Mrs. Coolbear’s Kindergarten class enjoyed a special day at Camp Coolbear! Students spent the day participating in fun camping-themed activities, making memories with their classmates, and celebrating all of the learning and growth they’ve accomplished this year.

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and adventure as our kindergarten campers enjoyed camping. What a fun way to celebrate a fantastic year in Kindergarten!

🍪🧁Pioneer’s Teacher Bake-Off was a sweet success!🧁🍪

Teachers traded in lesson plans for mixing bowls as they competed in our annual Teacher Bake-Off! Staff members brought in their best homemade treats, and our junior high students had the important job of taste-testing and voting for their favorites.

After some tough decisions (and plenty of delicious samples), the results were in:

🏆 **1st Place:** Mrs. Scoles – Caramel Stuffed Brownies
🥈 **2nd Place:** Ms. Naveen – Cookie Butter Cheesecake Cups
🥉 **3rd Place:** Mr. Victor – Cupcakes

Congratulations to our winners and to all of our talented bakers who participated. It was a fun event filled with creativity, friendly competition, and lots of sweet treats! 🍪✨

⚾🏆 The streak continues! 🏆⚾

Our 8th graders put up a great fight in this year's Staff vs. Students Softball Game, but the staff came away with the win once again. Making it 12 consecutive years of staff victories!

Better luck next year, 8th graders! 😎⚾

🧠💚 Mental Health Week at Pioneer was a HUGE success! 💚🧠
This week, our incredible School Counselor, Ms. Naveen, went above and beyond to make Mental Health Week meaningful, fun, and engaging for both our students and staff! From thoughtful activities to uplifting spirit days, she reminded all of us just how important it is to take care of our mental health and support one another. 🌟
Throughout the week, staff enjoyed daily wellness activities including:☕ “Let’s Stick Together” sticker station🎨 “Color Me Calm” coloring and relaxation break🫖 “Spill the Tea” iced tea bar and coworker connection time🚶 “Walk It Out” lunchtime walks for fresh air and movement
Students wrapped up the week with “The Big Brain Break,” a student mental health fair full of fun stations, activities, and opportunities to relax, reset, and focus on self-care. One of the highlights of the event was the staff inflatable costume race, which had students laughing, cheering, and having an amazing time! 🎉😂
Ms. Naveen also organized an awesome Staff Mental Health Spirit Week that brought positivity and fun all week long! Staff participated in:🥤 Fill Your Cup…or Bucket Day☀️ Be the Sunshine Day👑 Crown Yourself Day🏃 Mind Over Matter Day💚 Mental Health Matters Day
Thank you, Ms. Naveen, for creating such a positive atmosphere and for reminding our Pioneer family that mental health is just as important as physical health. Your dedication, creativity, and care truly made this week a blast for everyone! 💛💚

Wrapping up Teacher Appreciation Week feeling incredibly thankful for our amazing admin team! Today, our principal catered one of our local favorites, La Placita, for the entire staff and it was the perfect way to end such a thoughtful week. From coffee carts, root beer floats, bagels, trail mix bars, jerseys, and now delicious tacos, we truly felt celebrated all week long.

Teaching is not always easy, but feeling appreciated and supported makes all the difference. So grateful to work at a school where our staff is valued so deeply. 💙🌮🍽️ Isabel Acosta Amanda Johnson
