What if we asked students a different question?

We often ask:

“What do you want to be when you grow up?”

But before young people can confidently decide what they want to become, they need opportunities to discover who they are becoming.

A child’s K–12 journey includes much more than academics.

They’re developing confidence.

They’re discovering strengths.

They’re learning whether their voice matters.

They’re developing relationships.

They’re discovering leadership.

They’re beginning to understand what interests them.

And eventually, they’re making decisions about college, careers, trades, finances, and adulthood.

That’s why we created The Kaiden Project.

Not to replace the important work schools are already doing—but to create a continuous K–12 identity growth journey alongside it.

Build Me — K–5

Find Me — Grades 6–8

Launch Me — Grades 9–12

Imagine a student reaching graduation and being able to look back at more than grades and courses.

Imagine them seeing how their confidence developed.

The strengths they discovered.

The goals they accomplished.

The leadership they demonstrated.

The challenges they worked through.

The interests that became possibilities.

And the person they became along the way.

Because graduation shouldn’t be the first time a young person seriously begins asking:

“Who am I, and where am I going?”

Those conversations can begin much earlier.

Student Privacy, Trust & Governance | The Kaiden Project

Student support cannot work without trust.

The Kaiden Project is designed to help schools understand student growth while respecting privacy, responsible access, and district governance.

Student information should only be available to the people who need it to support the child. Teachers, counselors, administrators, families, and district leaders should each have appropriate levels of access based on their role.

The goal is not to create public student profiles, label children, or replace district systems. The goal is to connect meaningful growth signals, strengthen coordination, and help schools respond earlier while maintaining clear ownership and accountability.

Privacy, trust, security, transparency, and responsible governance must remain central to every decision.

Every Child Deserves to Be Seen | The Kaiden Project

Every child deserves to be seen, understood, and supported for more than a grade, a behavior, an absence, or one difficult moment.

The Kaiden Project helps schools build a more complete understanding of each student’s identity, confidence, emotional growth, engagement, leadership, and future direction.

The goal is not to label children.

The goal is to help teachers, counselors, administrators, and families recognize changes earlier and coordinate support around the whole child.

Because when a child feels seen, they are more likely to feel supported. And when support begins earlier, schools have a greater opportunity to prevent small struggles from becoming larger ones.
