The past month has been both joyful and bittersweet as 12 of my beautiful students graduated from high school and completed their voice studies with me.

Many graduated with outstanding GPAs, academic honors, and the distinction of Salutatorian or Valedictorian. Several also had the honor of singing at their graduation ceremonies.

What makes this especially emotional is that some of these girls started voice lessons with me when they were only 8, 9, or 10 years old. It feels like yesterday they were little girls standing behind a music stand, and now they are confident young ladies beginning the next chapter of their lives.

I am so grateful to God for allowing me to be their teacher and mentor for so many years. This is the largest graduating class in my teaching career, and I already feel a little like an empty nester.

Congratulations, Class of 2026. I will miss each and every one of you. ❤️🎓

Proud moment hearing my student sing at the 2026 Graduation Ceremony, proudly representing the work we have done together through voice training and mentorship.

I am also deeply grateful to Visions In Education Charter School for the opportunity to serve as a longtime vendor, providing voice instruction to countless students over the past two decades. It has been a privilege to help young singers find and develop their voices, and seeing them shine on stage is one of the greatest rewards of this work.
