The PA Program is sad to say goodbye to one of our founding faculty members Dr. Jacie Touart, who is leaving the PA Program for other opportunities.

Jacie has inspired countless students with her passion for pain management, boundless positivity, and her infectious sense of humor. She will be dearly missed! 🥺🧡

Please join me in welcoming Megan as part of our PA family!🥰

Hi, my name is Megan. I am an alumna of the program from the Class of 2020 and joined the program as faculty in January. I previously worked in Emergency Medicine and more recently orthopedic trauma surgery. UOP had such a positive impact on my experience as both a student and a provider that I was excited to return and bring my clinical experience and alumni perspective into the classroom and faculty role. In my free time, I enjoy endurance sports, spending time on the water, and hanging out with my dog and cat.

Hi everyone,

Please join me in welcoming our new faculty member! We are so happy to have you as part of our PA family.🐯🧡

My name is Joanna, and I am so excited to be a new faculty member at University of the Pacific. I graduated from the University at Buffalo with a Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences and from the University of Pittsburgh with a Master of Physician Assistant Studies. I started my PA career in internal medicine in Pittsburgh, and then moved to Oklahoma to work in a busy rural urgent care. I have always had a passion for teaching and mentorship, and I am so excited to be joining UOP!

When not working, I love travelling, being in nature and spending time with family and friends! I love discovering new hobbies and learning new things. I recently started my own clothing boutique and have been learning so much as a new business owner! As a native New Yorker, I love NY style pizza and bagels!
