Monday, Oct. 6, was no ordinary evening for Paramedic John Doughty. The Sac State and CCE Paramedic alum sprang into action after a helicopter crashed along Hwy. 50.
For their bravery, John and his partner received Heroism Medals from the Sacramento Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution.
โWhile others watched in shock, John moved with instinct, determined to help. In a scene filled with uncertainty and heartbreak, he remained calm and steadfast, providing critical assistance when it mattered most.โ

๐ Spotlight: Leadership for the Government Executive
Are your 1:1s with leaders of leaders actually driving outcomesโor just updates? Make them count by focusing on what moves transformation forward: align on cross-agency priorities, coach for accountability, challenge assumptions with nontraditional solutions, and build the relationships needed to execute.
Our program turns those conversations into action through: Executive Leadership โ Coaching Culture โ Service Culture โ Organizational Change โ Strategy & Measurement โ Team Dynamics โ Enterprise Communication
Here is a testimonial from previous cohort:
โI appreciate and value the leadership tools and resources provided as a part of the course, but the biggest take away was the collaboration and camaraderie of my cohort of their shared experiences.โ - Glenn Wallace, Cohort 43
