Welcome to the Secret Garden! Founder and teacher Camille Jarboe is a passionate early childhood educator with nearly 10 years of experience working with children. She believes in empowering young humans to discover their own strengths and interests through free exploration and experimentation. Camille has worked as an early childhood educato

r throughout the greater Sacramento area. She found that a few preschools were practicing the kind of intuitive, play-based program she believed in. She founded the Secret Garden Nature School to create a space for young minds to learn and thrive together. The location of the Secret Garden was thoughtfully and carefully chosen. Students spend most of their day learning, building and exploring in the fresh air and sunlight because the world around us is the best teacher! The outdoor play area is an expansive garden with trees, vines, fruits and tons of open ended activities for children to immerse themselves in. When students do learn inside, they meet a welcoming school room abundant with stimulating, naturally-derived toys. Large open windows minimize the barrier between the indoor school room and the school outside. Camille is certified in preventive health and safety practices, Infant-Child CPR and First aid.
