Mike Tyson is a great example of what it means to be a fighter. Growing up he experienced bullying, discrimination, and even physical assault. This made it necessary to find a way to protect himself and he did. Mike started amateur boxing where he would eventually, with persistence and hard work, be named a six-time heavyweight champion. Of course, we can attribute a big part of his success to skill and talent but we have to ask why? The simple answer is he had a reason. Being bullied and fearing for his safety as a youth drove him to start boxing in the first place. He NEEDED safety with no other OPTION and with PERSISTENCE he grew his craft into something truly amazing. Find a way to cultivate that same urgency and have a why. I hope you can take a lesson from it and this can spark some introspection for you. Feel free to reach out if you are looking to find bigger things for yourself!
