Stingers Up for an amazing Fall 2018! Faculty, staff, and many students gathered Thursday, Aug. 23, to hear President Robert S. Nelsen kick off the new year with his Fall Address in the Union Ballroom. He talked about improving graduation rates, our commitment to diversity and inclusion, increases in philanthropy, and more.

The president also declared our campus “Sacramento’s anchor university … driven to improve the community” and seeking “true, lasting change” with solutions to community problems such as poverty, hunger, and inadequate education.
