Blankets out, an easy dinner packed, little ones making music, and time to connect with community.

After making its debut this spring, Musical Picnic Club is back for six Wednesday evenings at Coloma Community Center with Ms. Phoebe!

Created with the after-work hours in mind, Picnic Club is a chance to step out of the weekday rush and into an evening of music and connection.

When & Where to Join the Club ⤵️

🗓️ Wednesdays, September 23-October 28
⏳ 5:30-6:15 pm
📍 Coloma Community Center • Ages 0-5
🎫 Sliding-scale pricing starting at $15 per family

Come for one evening or make it your family’s Wednesday tradition throughout the season. GRF 6-Class Packs can also be used for Picnic Club. 💛

Early morning weekday families, we’re looking for you! ☀️🎶

We’ve loved welcoming so many new families to our 9:00 AM Tuesday class in Land Park with Ms. Phoebe this summer, but now we’re looking for our next wave of families to join the circle as we transition into fall and beyond.

From newborns to toddlers, these classes offer something special for every stage of early development.

Newborns are immersed in new sounds, rhythms, and textures. Toddlers engage with instruments, march, groove, and practice listening and responding to musical cues. 🎵

And through it all, grownups get a chance to connect with their littlest loves and other local families.

If a little music, movement, fresh air, and community sounds like the perfect addition to your Tuesday mornings, come join us under the trees in Land Park. 🌳

From joining the Grow Resilient Families circle to leading it. 💛

Ms. Phoebe’s GRF story began as a mom bringing her own little one to class. Over time, that connection to music, community, and the families around her grew into something even deeper.

Today, she’s the one leading the circle and creating that same kind of space for other families.

You can make music with Ms. Phoebe each week:
🎶 Mondays at 4:30 PM at Enchanted Natomas
🌳 Tuesdays at 9:00 AM in Land Park

And there’s more to come! She has a few additional community events on the calendar this fall, so stay tuned for where you can catch her next. 👀

We’re so grateful to have her special energy and passion helping lead, inspire, and create meaningful moments for our little ones and the grownups who love them. 💫

We’re so excited to return to Effie Yeaw Nature Center for four mornings of music, movement, and connection in nature. 🌿🎶

This season brings a special twist! Each class will be led by a different Grow Resilient Families instructor, giving families the opportunity to experience their unique talents and warmth.

Even our owner, Jillian Van Ness, will be joining us to lead our November class! 🍂

If you’ve joined us on Tuesday mornings at Land Park, you’ve likely experienced Ms. Liz’s joyful energy firsthand. 🎶

Music has been part of her story since childhood. Starting with singing in the shower to taking classical piano lessons and performing with a musical improv troupe today, she’s always found joy in making music and sharing it with others.
