In a world of fast transitions, here’s a gentle throwback of Ms. Jillian alongside instructors Ms. Hannah and Ms. Sage singing an all-time Itsy Bitsy favorite together. 🎶

As we revisit moments like these, we’ve been reflecting on the beauty of early language exposure through music.

What recent research continues to suggest is that exposure to multiple languages in early childhood does not confuse children or delay long-term language development.

In fact, many studies have found bilingual exposure may support cognitive flexibility, communication skills, sound recognition, and memory. 🧠

Any bilingual parents reading this? We’d love to hear what bilingual exposure has looked like in your family.

We just might have something up our sleeves for summer if you’d be interested in a Spanish music exploration class. 🌞

Whether you are catching Ms. Jillian at Strawberry Musical Festival this weekend or gathering with us for our intimate Musical Picnic Club next Wednesday evening, you are in for something special. 🍓🎶

While we may gather for music and movement, we all know there’s something deeper happening in these moments together too.

Community feels stronger, connections grow sweeter, and for a little while, life slows down in the best way. 🪄

Strawberry day passes and overnight camping experiences are still available, and tickets are live for our LAST Musical Picnic Club gathering of spring as Ms. Jillian joins Ms. Phoebe for an evening that sends us buzzing into the summer months. ✨

Head to our calendar to reserve your family’s spot. 👶

I think we could all use a little Ms. Hannah serenade in our lives lately. 💛🎶

Through GRF, Ms. Hannah has been bringing music into all kinds of community spaces this season, from preschool and elementary school programming, to a spring concert orchestrated for a local elementary school, to pop-ups at local libraries, and even private guitar lessons.

We’re so grateful to keep growing alongside musicians who bring such warmth into the lives of little ones and families across Sacramento.

If you want to keep an eye out for where Ms. Hannah pops up next, be sure to check our calendar. ✨
