Fairfield PTO Family Night last week was an amazing night! We wrapped up book fair week and started off the long weekend with sunshine,fun,friends, books & more!

We exceeded our Share the Fair donation goal thanks to our generous school community! That money ensured that each and every student went home with a book of their choice during classroom visits throughout the week. The remaining funds will be put towards our spring book fair!!

Thank you SO much to all of our parent, teacher and student volunteers! From set up after school, during the event and cleaning up, we wouldn’t be able to have events like this without you!

Fundraising from this event helps us hold future events, purchase books for the school and school library, provide a free meal for all families (pto purchased pizza from Portland Pie Company - Biddeford), rent an obstacle course from 207Bounce and more!

Thanks to everyone for spending your night with us making positive school memories! 💗

Who's excited for Family Fun!? Join the Fairfield PTO for the Family Fun Night on Thursday, October 8th from 4:30-6:30pm. The Scholastic Book Fair will be open for families to shop in the gym! We will have teacher wishlist baskets set up on a table for families to browse if they choose to purchase a new book for a classroom. Happy shopping & enjoy your new books!! 📚💙

We will have pizza, popcorn, water, face painting, music & an inflatable obstacle course outside!
While entry to the event and concessions are free (provided by the PTO) we greatly appreciate donations at family night to support the PTO so we can continue to do great things for our school community. Any and all donations are welcome!

All proceeds raised from the book fair family night directly benefit Governor John Fairfield School. The PTO helps raise funds for the school to provide enrichment programs,spirit wear, staff lunches, new books for our library and classrooms, recess equipment, events and MORE.
We cannot wait to see our smiling Fairfield Friends! 🙂

Here is some helpful information regarding our fall book fair! 😁
Follow this link to set up your child’s ewallet. ⬇️

This link is available for use until your child’s class visits the book fair during school. An ewallet slip is printed by a volunteer and your child uses it like cash. Cash is also an acceptable form of payment. 💲
Please specify if your student’s cash is for them to spend or if it is a cash donation to the Share the Fair program.

❤️📚Share the Fair allows every child to purchase a book at the book fair whether they brought money to school or not. This is all possible from generous donations from people like you! You can make an online donation in any amount when setting up your own child’s ewallet or through this link if you’re able to! Thank you for considering!

The Scholastic Book Fair is coming next week Monday 10/5-Thursday 10/8! 📚
We need volunteers to help the fair run smoothly all week! Volunteers are responsible for setting up, running the cash register, assisting classes while they shop and a quick clean up after. You are welcome to sign up for multiple time slots if you’re able to!
It’s a fun way to see your child during the school day and help all students find new books! 😁
