Little Treasures Child Care Center is now OPEN and is taking enrollment for children ages 6 weeks to age 12. Hours are Monday thru Friday, 6:45 a.m.-5:30 p.m.F.M.I., please call 286-3430

We offer before and after care for school age children, and are open most vacations. Little Treasures Childcare is a licensed facility that opened its doors in 2011, serving the southern Maine area. The childcare center provides care for children 6 weeks to 12 years of age. They offer before and after school care. The center is open from 6:45 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. The center offers breakfast and an afternoon snack. The center also offers a 6 week summer camp program. The Childcare Center staff has over 20 years of experience. The center adheres to the Maine Early Learning guidelines for infants, toddlers and preschoolers. The center staff is also registered to Maine Roads to Quality. All staff is CPR and first aid certified.

We don’t try to fit children into a mold. We pay attention to who each one is, and make room for them to show us.

We offer before and after school care for children through age 12, so families have a familiar, caring place for their kids on either side of the school day.

And when school is out, we're often open for vacation days too.

Think you earn too much to get help paying for child care? You might be surprised. 💛

For a family of four in Maine, the income limit for the Child Care Affordability Program (CCAP) is more than $100,000 a year. It is worth five minutes to check.

Little Treasures is an approved CCAP provider. We can help you apply and answer general questions, but the State of Maine decides who qualifies, not us. We'll point you to everything you need to get started.

On a sunny day, pick a favorite toy (or strike a silly pose!) and trace the shadow onto the driveway with chalk. Come back an hour later and trace the shadow again in a different color to see how much it moved.

Or bring it inside: stand a toy in front of a lamp or sunny window, hold up a piece of paper, and trace the shadow it casts. Then let your child color it in!
