Twas the night before school, and all through the halls,
Not a Hawk could be heard — no footsteps, no calls.
The classrooms were ready, the desks set with care,
In hopes that our Hudson Hawks soon would be there.
The backpacks were packed by the front door just right,
While students were wondering, “Will I sleep tonight?”
New sixth graders nervous, seventh graders prepared,
And eighth graders acting like they’re not even scared. 😉
The teachers were ready, their lessons all planned,
The staff was prepared to lend students a hand.
Schedules were checked and alarms were all set,
For a brand-new school year we won’t soon forget.
There’ll be new friends to meet and new things to learn,
New chances to grow with each hallway turn.
So get some good sleep and prepare now to soar —
Because tomorrow our Hawks will fill Hudson once more!
We’ve missed you, Hawks, and we’re ready to say:
WELCOME BACK, HUDSON! ❤️🖤
Let’s make it a GREAT first day!
🦅 SOAR HAWKS SOAR! 🦅
