The 2nd September Staff Spotlight is Jacque Stallbaumer. She serves SHS. Here is why she was nominated:

“Mrs. Stallbaumer is my senior's advisory teacher. While it may seem like a study hall, this class is also used to prepare students for the future by working on IPS items like resumes, cover letters, etc. Mrs. Stallbaumer does a great job of staying on top of these items and as the seniors fill out college applications and scholarship applications, I am appreciative of one less thing they have to do.”

PTO will deliver your gift card. Thanks for all you do Jacque!

Other nominees last month: Angi Bellis, Kara Georg and Loretta Buser

The first September Staff Spotlight is Marilyn Oehm. She serves SES. Here is why she was nominated:

“Mrs. Oehm is truly amazing. She is so compassionate toward every student and genuinely wants each one to succeed. I love that every child walks into her classroom like a blank slate—she meets them where they are and pours so much into helping them grow. You can tell she truly cares about the whole child, not just the student.”

PTO will deliver your gift card. Thanks for all you do Marilyn!

Our educators and support staff do incredible work every day, and now it is our turn to celebrate them. The Sabetha PTO is thrilled to announce that Staff Spotlight nominations are officially open for the school year.

We want to hear from our entire Bluejay community. Parents, tell us about a teacher who has truly connected with your child. Students, give a shout-out to a staff member who makes your school day brighter. Staff members, lift up a colleague who always has your back. Whether it is a small act of kindness or a major milestone, every story matters.

Each month, two nominees from SES, SMS, or SHS will be featured on Facebook and receive a PTO gift card. Best of all, every single nominee will receive a copy of your kind words to brighten their week. Take a few moments to share your appreciation through the nomination link below.
