NASA Endeavor STEM Teaching Certificate Project Earn the Endeavor STEM Teaching Certificate to advance your skills and confidence with integrated STEM.

Options for Master's degree track, stand alone courses, and certificate tracks are available to meet your professional needs. Change in teacher practice is the key to improving student performance in STEM. The Endeavor Online STEM Certificate provides the comprehensive training educators need to effectively teach STEM content and integrate strategies within the core curriculum. Endeavor graduates

become champions in their schools and districts leading efforts for STEM education and enacting change in their classrooms and beyond. The Endeavor Masters degree option allows educators to ear a masters in STEM education with university partners. Both the Certificate option and the Masters degree option will benefit all educators of STEM content from elementary generalists to AP educators. This includes STEM coordinators, math and science coaches/supervisors, educators running or starting STEM schools or career academies or anyone responsible for integrating math, science, technology, and engineering curriculum strands across grades K-12.

We're excited to continue introducing the incredible educators who make up our Summer 2026 Endeavor STEM Education Cohort! Over the coming weeks, we'll be spotlighting each teacher as they begin a journey of discovery, leadership, and authentic STEM learning.

Today, we're excited to introduce Emily!

Emily is a chemistry teacher at Harrison High School in Westchester, New York, where she is passionate about helping students discover the power and relevance of science. A graduate of the University of Rochester and Relay Graduate School, Emily brings a wealth of classroom experience, having previously taught in New York City while serving in multiple teacher leadership roles and as a Math for America Fellow.

Committed to advancing science education beyond her own classroom, Emily is a current New York State Master Teacher and serves as a New York State Education Department Specialist, helping develop the state's Chemistry assessments. Her passion for authentic STEM learning and educator leadership makes her a tremendous addition to this year's Endeavor cohort.

We're excited to see how Emily brings new ideas and authentic research experiences back to her students and school community.

Jennifer has spent the past 10 years inspiring students through science education, from the Bronx to the Yonkers Public School District, where she currently teaches Life Science and Chemistry. Passionate about making science engaging, relevant, and fun, she is committed to creating learning experiences that spark curiosity and encourage students to explore meaningful STEM pathways.

This summer, Jennifer is expanding her expertise as she prepares to teach AP Environmental Science while joining a community of educators dedicated to transforming STEM education through authentic experiences.

Today we're excited to introduce Liza Kalinichenko!

Liza is a special education Earth Science teacher at the High School for Environmental Studies in New York City, where she teaches Earth Science and astronomy while helping students discover the relevance of science in their everyday lives. With more than 12 years of experience in NYC public schools and a background teaching biology and forensic science, she is passionate about making complex scientific concepts meaningful, accessible, and engaging for every learner.

Drawing on her educational experiences in both Ukraine and the United States, Liza brings a unique global perspective to science education while fostering critical thinking, curiosity, and problem-solving in her classroom. As she continues to expand her expertise through physics certification, she remains committed to creating authentic learning experiences that inspire students to better understand the world around them.

This summer, she's joining a community of educators dedicated to transforming STEM education through authentic research, collaboration, and innovation.

Today we're excited to introduce Stephen Mulick!

Stephen is a chemistry educator at North Salem Middle/High School, where he teaches AP, Honors, and General Chemistry. Drawing on experience from The Bronx High School of Science and Horace Greeley High School, he is passionate about helping students "touch chemistry" through inquiry-based learning, hands-on investigations, and real-world connections that make science meaningful.

As a former Math for America Master Teacher Fellow, Stephen has dedicated his career to designing engaging, NGSS-aligned learning experiences that inspire curiosity and scientific thinking. This summer, he's joining a community of educators committed to transforming STEM education through authentic research, collaboration, and innovation.
