💜⚡ SERVICE IN EXCELLENCE AWARD ⚡💜

This month, instead of recognizing one staff member, we are proud to recognize the Rye High School ESS Department as the recipients of our Service in Excellence Award!

This team has risen to the occasion this year by demonstrating flexibility, collaboration, and an unwavering commitment to serving our students. They approach each day with patience, professionalism, creativity, and a willingness to do whatever it takes to help students succeed.

The department has also embraced a new home in the Student Learning Center, transforming the space into a welcoming, supportive, and positive environment for students. They took ownership of the space and made it truly their own... a place where students can learn, grow, and feel supported.

Their dedication, teamwork, and genuine care for students exemplify what it means to serve with excellence. Thank you, Mrs. Dale, Mr. Martinez-McGraw, Mr. Biefel, Ms. Ragan, and Ms. Zapien.

🏐🏈🏌️‍♂️🏃‍♀️🥎🎳🎺

Nearly all of our Thunderbolt Athletics game competitions are underway. Boys Golf has found early success with multiple tournament wins, Cross Country got started in Colorado Springs yesterday, Volleyball is competing at Custer today, and Taci’s Softball season with Pueblo West got underway this week. Football kicks off this Friday night, while our Marching Band and Color Guard are gearing up for their upcoming competitions. Our Rolling Thunder Bowling team will also be rolling strikes soon at Big Daddy’s in Pueblo competing against all of the other Pueblo schools!

It’s a great time to be a Thunderbolt! We look forward to seeing our community out supporting our student-athletes, musicians, and performers all fall long! ⚡️
