π£ Dear Members of the Port Chester Community,
The Port Chester Board of Education is seeking community members to serve on its advisory committees for the 2026β2027 school year. These committees play an important role in shaping district initiatives by providing valuable feedback, sharing diverse perspectives, and helping strengthen our schools.
Whether you are a parent, guardian, resident, or community partner, we encourage you to get involved by serving on one of the following advisory committees:
- Community Partners
- Multilingual Learner
- Facilities (Buildings & Grounds)
- Health, Wellness & Safety
- School Resource Officer (SRO)
- Ethics
- Athletics
- Special Education
- Audit
If you are interested in sharing your time, expertise, and perspective, please contact District Clerk Cathy Maggi at [email protected] by September 15, 2026.
Advisory committees meet at least twice during the school year to discuss important district priorities and provide recommendations to the Board of Education. If you are currently serving on a committee, there is no need to reapply. We sincerely appreciate your continued commitment and service.
To help ensure consistency and continuity throughout the school year, committee membership will be finalized after September 15. We ask that members make every effort to attend all scheduled meetings, as we generally do not add new members once committees have been established.
Thank you for your dedication to the Port Chester Public Schools. We look forward to partnering with you to make a positive impact on our school community. Your voice, ideas, and involvement help make our schools stronger.
